Leona: … So that’s how it is. You need one of these to attend their oh-so-notorious party.

Floyd: Explains why they’re so stuck on this little piece of trash.

Ace: You’re the one who stole that ‘trash’.

Floyd: You say somethin'?

Ace: Ohhh, nothing.

Leona: A mirror shard, this invitation, and that “esteemed host” the ghosts mentioned…

There’s one thing we can be pretty confident of:

The fastest way to pull the plug on this joke of a Halloween is to find the guy spreading these invitations all over the place and bash his face in.

Seems like we’ll need these mirror shards to attend the party where our “Esteemed Host” awaits.

Therefore, we better keep snatching them up from these ghosts.

Ace: What do you mean, keep? Like, we’re not gonna try to find the rest of the groups?

Leona: Our objective’s to put a stop to Halloween… in short, to shut down the culprit that caused this whole mess. 

I don’t plan on babysitting the others. They can go do whatever.

Floyd: They’re all probably thinkin' the same thing anyway.

And besides — no one from our campus would ever lose to these wimpy ghosts.

I mean, we just blew them all away no problem. They’re super weak.

Leona: Whoa there.

Floyd: Was that like, your surprise attack? Way to be obvious.

Leona: These idiots wouldn’t know a trap even if they fell in one.

Ace: ......

Floyd & Leona: Hm?

Floyd: Uh, you’re also human?

Leona: What’s his problem?

Ace?: You really did a number on us there.

Why, we gave an inch and you took a mile, but now your heads will roll! It’s time I got serious!

Leona: Even said you were gonna beat us within an inch of our life.

Floyd: That was real funny, huh. Say it again, Crab-chan, so I can pay you back for it.

Huh? I remember the ghost zooming into my face, and I was all “whoa!”. Everything got super cold, and then…

… Then what happened?

Floyd: What. You playing dumb now?

Leona: I’ll lend a hand if all you want is a mouthful of sand again.

Ace: Wh—stop! I’ve seriously got no idea!!!

Leona: … Lucky for you, we’re just joking, so quit your yelling already.

You’re not the kind of idiot to pick a fight while outnumbered.

Ace: Exactly my point! Especially not the upperclassmen I totally look up to and admire! I could never hope to beat you two!

Floyd: You did say something like, “now that I’ve obtained this living body”, too… It felt weird.

You weren’t your usual self like, at all. Your eyes were all heavy, and it was hard to tell what you were thinking.

Leona: Yeah. Almost like the ghost took over your body.

Ace: T-Took over my body?!

Uh, freaky… I mean, on the whole, that’s actually really scary, so… what’s even going on anymore…?

Like, can ghosts seriously do that?

Leona: We’re in their territory now. Any strange thing could happen.

And besides, you were practically begging for that ghost to possess you, leaving your guard down like that.

Ace: My guard?

Floyd: You had the stupidest look on your face when that ghost popped out of nowhere and scared the crap out of you. 

Ace: … Huh?! Which basically means… 

When a ghost surprises you… they can take over your body… ?

Leona: That’s not a bad guess.

Floyd: So all we’ve gotta do is be ready for jumpscares. No sweat. I’m not scared of these weak ass ghosts.

Leona: I wish it were that simple, but… surprise and terror are similar-but-different emotions.

Anyone will startle to some degree if they show up when your guard’s down.

Our opponents are ghosts: elusive, with no footsteps, smell, or presence.

Kind of hard to ask someone not to be jumpy when they could jump out anytime, anywhere.

Ace: If Leona-senpai and Floyd-senpai are taking this seriously, then… are we like, really in trouble here?
