( Oh well. I was just dropping by to kill time since the girl I was gonna hang out with had to cancel. )

 

( Bad timing, I guess. Not that I fit in with the rest of UNDEAD, anyhow. )

( They're actual good kids, so. )

 

( What to do now... I came all the way back to school. Making an instant U-turn only to go home now would feel like a
huge waste of time, huh. )

( It's not like there's anything interesting to do at home, anyway... it's just suffocating. )

( Nnnh. This sucks. Maybe I'll take it easy in the Marine Biology Club's club room. )

 

( Or work on my surfboard on the roof, or play games with Transfer Student-chan like usual and chase her around when she hates it... )

Kaoru: ... gyah?! Whoa, you scared me. Why're you just standing there without saying anything, Sakuma-san?!

 

Like, you were here? I didn't even notice. You usually give off this really gloomy presence.

Rei: .....

Kaoru: Hellooo.... ? Don't ignore me. Not that I care if a guy ignores me or anything, but you're so unnecessarily beautiful that it's scary when you're quiet.

The DDD live was stupid harsh. You must be tired from all that, huh.

 

My whole body feels sore and achy too, like I overdid it in the muscle department. I'm gonna have to lay off those kinda moves for a little while.

Rei: Indeed... though I think it wise for you to keep doing a bit of work despite our current reprieve. That way your arm strength won't decline.

How the revolution that occurred at the DDD live will change Yumenosaki from here-on out... we'll keep casually observing the results and tamper if need be.

 

Well. Not that there's much for us to worry about currently.

Not that I care much or anything, but won't it just confuse all your longtime fans?

 

Rei: Ah... that won't do. Have I just come to hate myself, perhaps? I suppose you could call this an "I don't want to sell
myself" sickness.

 

Kaoru: What're you talking about? Don't say that. Pile on a ton of work and get super popular.

 

Then the girls'll be all over me since we're in the same unit and I won't even have to lift a finger. ♪

Rei: Don't let others do it for you. The fastest way to succeed in life is to do it yourself, I believe.

 

Kaoru: That goes for you too, Sakuma-san. I don't know if you're suffering from burnout syndrome or something, but you've gotta get it together.

 

We're both undead, but right now you're more like a zombie than a vampire, Sakuma-san.

 

Rei: How rude. It's not like I'm rotting.
