Vil: Not everyone can flaunt such a gaudy design to the same degree, you know.

Vil: The baggy look, teeming with mischief and a relaxed atmosphere, is our fashion trend of the day.

The sharp, functional aspects of the tactical vest add a powerful punch to this playful look.

It gives off an aura where no one can take their eyes off you, the air of the mighty predator that never misses its prey.

… That style’s not bad, Floyd. Enough to make me comment, even. 

Floyd: New clothes are so dope. Well? How’s it look?

Epel: It feels completely different from Vil-san, even with the same design.

Riddle: This doesn’t make any sense! Why is Floyd getting all the equipment?

Floyd: I mean, we decided that whoever eliminated the most enemies would get what they wanted.

The one who wiped out a majority of ‘em on the way here just so happens to be me.

Riddle: Ugh… that’s… I’ll acknowledge your efforts, but… 

Floyd: Besides, Goldfish-chan, you’ve been pretty useless this whole time. You’re like, a flimsy little weakling with no magic. You sure that’s satisfactory for a dorm leader? 

Well, hey. No worries. I’ll drive away eeeveryone that attacks us all on my own.

So feel free to get behind me and hide. Ahah.

Riddle: Ughghgh… Get your elbow off my shoulder!!

Furthermore! You laugh at me now…

But your dorm leader, Azul, isn’t all that tough when magic is banned either. 

We saw him just moments ago as the one man out of breath in their group.

Vil: True. He may be desperately trying to raise his PE grade, but that’s still how he is every day. 

Floyd: Huh? Azul’s really strong, even without magic.

Everyone: Wha?

Floyd: Like sure, he’s slow on land and in water so he sucks at sports, but that doesn’t mean he’s weak.

Azul’s way bigger than we are in the sea, and he’s got eight huge, fat legs.

His chokehold is seriously brutal, and that grip strength—if he pinched your arm, it’d be enough to make you cry.

Riddle: We are talking about Azul, aren’t we? It’s hard to believe such out of the blue statements… 

Vil: Between his average stature and his stiff presentation, one wouldn’t assume him to be all that strong.

Floyd: Octopus are mostly muscle, so, maybe it’s like, some leftover ability after using a potion to transform into a human.

I don’t know all the details.

Still, you’re better off not underestimating Azul.

He can probably wring out a magicless little pushover like you.

Riddle: Excuse me? Care to repeat that? Did you just imply that I’m weak?

Floyd: I said when magicless, okay? I got you, I got you. You’re sooo strong, Goldfish-chan. ♪

Riddle: Cease with that infuriating way of speaking to me this instant, or I’ll lop off that head!!

Epel: C-Calm down you guys…

Vil: Leave them be. They’ve been at odds with each other ever since their ceremony.

Epel: Seriously? From that moment on?!

Vil: Night Raven College’s entrance ceremony tends to have these disruptions, you see.  

Wasn’t it the same for your group?

Flashback time.

Vil: Students slipping out of the ceremony entirely,

Intruders turning the assembly hall into a sea of fire,

And even those who go picking a fight with their dorm leader.

Pans back.

Epel: Ugh… W-Well. 

Vil: We had our own issues, mind you. I’m not sure it’s ever gone smoothly.

Ergo, it's a school tradition for fights to break out immediately.

Well, if we all behaved most politely…

Then Happy Beans Day would’ve never turned into this sports competition.

Epel: … Pfth. Ahahah! That’s true!

But I like the competitive atmosphere of our school… a lot, I guess.

Vil: … Yes. I’m rather fond of it myself.

Now. Would the Explosive Duo over there like to join us before we leave you behind?

Riddle: I’d like to strongly protest that moniker, Vil-senpai. Unlike him, I’m not explosive in the least.
