Azul: Now that it’s end of day, let’s cash out the register and turn in early in preparation for tomorrow.

The long-awaited day is finally here; Happy Beans Day. It’s highly important that we rest to recover any fatigue.

Jade: It seems we’re on different teams yet again, Azul.

Azul: I was caught by the Monster Team shortly after the event started last year…

And then spent the rest of my time with Vargas, who conducted a one-on-one training session until the closing ceremony.

.... I’ll never forget that shame, and my aching muscles!

Last time, I tasted defeat, but tomorrow will be different.

I'll get my desired results on the Monster Team. Fufufu…!

Jade: Certainly. I’m looking forward to your future success on the enemy team.

Azul: Hmph. Play it cool while you still can.

… By the way, where's Floyd? I haven’t seen him.

Jade: Laying listlessly on our sofa for the customers like a dried sardine, as it were.

Floyd: Siiiiiiigh~…...

Happy Beans Day is suuuch a draaaag~... I should just ditch.

Azul: And yet last year you were all, “sounds fun~!” the very day before. You’re such a moody individual.

Floyd: I mean, you guys have it made, being on different teams this time.

But I’m on the Farmers Team again and already bored.

Plus I hate being chased. Wish I was on the Monster Team.

Jade: Ah, I see. So that’s why you’ve been in a bad mood all day.

Floyd: I asked some classmates to switch lots with me, right? Like, with a teeensy bit of forceful persuasion.

But they snitched on me and then the teacher was pissed.

So just dock my points or whatever. I’m gonna stay in bed tomorrow.

Jade: Well, well… now, there’s a problem. I was pleased to find that we were on the same team this year.

Floyd: Us being together isn’t even that special.

Azul: I was hoping Floyd wouldn’t feel like playing given that we’re on opposite sides, but…

They’ll lower your grade if you skip Happy Beans Day.

And later still, you’ll have to attend special lessons with Vargas-sensei.

Floyd: Seriously~? Screw that… I’m gonna waste away just thinking about it.

Azul: How about simply showing up for roll-call and then hiding somewhere to pass the time?

Floyd: Eeehhh…

Jade: Now there’s an idea. After all, the students are left to their own devices during the match.

Being able to conceal ourselves without a trace is our signature technique as moray eels, isn’t it?

Floyd: Nnnnhh…

Jade & Azul: ……

Azul: He’s next in line for Vargas-sensei’s special education course, I’m afraid.

Jade: I suppose there’s no helping it. We’ll let Floyd do as he pleases.

After all, he may be in a much better mood tomorrow.
