Kanata: ... you’re right, Kaoru. Not getting to participate with our "sea friends" is sad, but... I was in the wrong.

Let's make this "sports festival" a success with our love for the "sea"... ♪

If our "achievements" are acknowledged, we can get more "funding" for the "Marine Biology Club". ♪

Kaoru: You've been thinking about the club in your own way, huh. We're low on members and our activities are a total mystery, so. 

Souma: Others would approve of our club and acknowledge us if you'd actually take this seriously and join in. To speak of this like it's not your problem...

I'll straighten out that temperament of yours here and now.

Kaoru: Yeah, okay. Put the sword away. It's dangerous.

Anyway, Souma-kyun, don't you think you'd better stop being so cruel to me? 

You'll only have two members if I quit. It wouldn't be weird for them to drop the club after that.

Kaoru: I’m gonna participate whether you point that blade at me or not. Still, the club relay? Can you even run, Kanata-kun?

Kaoru: I’d be surprised if you had awesome reflexes, Kanata-kun. How about you, Souma-kun? You good at running? 

Souma: I never skip my morning “joggingu” routine. Adonisu-dono has even been joining me lately.

It can be said that I’m skilled, but not enough to triumph over him. 

Kaoru: Uh-huh. So Kanata-kun sucks and Souma-kun is… good, and I guess I’d say I’m just all right. Though if we’re taking part that means you wanna win, right? 

Souma: It’s likely that Adonisu-dono will be entering the relay as well.

Kaoru: It won’t just be the Track and Field Club, though. Plenty of sports clubs will be there. Getting first place’ll be hard for sure, but don’t you want us to do a half-decent job at least?

Souma: … quite the sensible thing to say — for you, at least. Still, you’re exactly right. I want to prove the Marine Biology Club can work as hard as any other.

Kaoru: Yep, yep. ♪ Which means we need a coach. But where could we possibly find someone willing to lead us? 

Oh, Anzu-chan. Don’t turn away now. You were listening to all that, right? 

Souma: Why, you… she’s frightened. Release her at once.

Kaoru: Okay, okay. Sorry, Anzu-chan. … think you can forgive me? 

You really are the kindest. I could totally fall for you. ♪ 

Souma: Why must you mouth off so much around women?  Get behind me, Anzu-dono. This way I can protect you from Hakaze-dono’s evil clutches.

Kaoru: You don’t have to go that far. I won’t lay a hand on a girl who doesn’t want it. Really, really. ♪ 

So, going back to the previous topic… think you can coach us, Anzu-chan? 

You’re everyone’s “producer”, right? Which means you’re capable of coaching people.

If you’re not feeling confident I can walk you through it? 

Souma: Anzu-dono. Don’t bother with listening to the words of this lecher; you’re a “purodyusa”.  

You ought to be fulfilling your duties, not occupying yourself with our current plight. 

You wish to hear the details… ? But Anzu-dono is quite the busy individual. It would pain me to see you caught up in our affairs.

Kaoru: It took so long to get Anzu-chan to care, so could you not? 

Uhm, Anzu-chan. It’s a long story, but… ah, right. You already heard part of what’s going on. 

This and that happened and now we’re going to enter the club competition relay.

Well, even if winning would be difficult, we'd like to place at least reasonably well, so we were talking about how we could use a coach.

I’ll give you a “miniature fish tank” I made if you agree to be our “coach”~... ♪

The “seashells” in it are also handmade. 

The large ones are great in their own way, but a “fish tank” that fits in your palm is very cute. ♪
