Rei: My apologies... I had plans for you to be the ritual's "sacrifice" and urged my family members to carry out the preliminary arrangements.

 

It seems they were far too brutal in their methods, however. I'll be sure to scold them for it later, so please bear with it for now. 

 

As far as my family's concerned, this ritual is significant. They must've unintentionally gotten carried away. 

 

Kaoru: Eh? By ritual you mean that thing you told us about before?

 

Where you had to pretend to suck someone’s blood or something… wasn’t Adonis-kun supposed to be involved in all that? Not me?

 

Rei: The blood being used is most certainly his. It was drawn beforehand. Thank you kindly for your cooperation, Adonis-kun… there, there. ♪

 

Adonis: Right. But will the amount I gave be enough? I'd willing to give at least another liter if necessary.

 

Rei: That much would surely kill you... Having you unable to participate in our live would pose a problem. 

 

That was quite enough. All's well as long as we have the blood.

 

We'll be fine as long as the sight convinces them.

 

All we've left to do now is carry out something that's moderately similar to the ritual. You'll have to be a good boy a little while longer in order to persuade my family.

 

Kaoru: What's up with your family... at the end of the day, their motives are still unclear. I don't get it.

Rei: Oh, come now. Let's be friends everlasting. If the undead were to lose one of their rank, it'd eventually become a sad affair with no one to talk to. ♪

 

Kaoru: If you want us to be friends you better start treating me better~. Anyone else would’ve left by now, normally.

 

I’m starting to get this even less now… I mean, if you’re using Adonis-kun’s blood for the ritual, then why am I tied up?

 

Rei: Forgive me. You see, Adonis-kun’s parents are very influential individuals with connections to my family. 

 

I fear they would only show disapproval if I were to mention his blood was being used for the "sacrifice". 

 

Therefore, I wanted to make it seem like you were the official choice, Kaoru-kun. That's why I have you playing the part of "sacrifice" the ceremony. ♪

 

All it requires is for you to lie quiet. It's an easy task... so there's no need for all the complaining.

Rei: Heheh. That sounds like fun. I'll look forward to it. ♪

 

This is getting more and more exhilarating. Perhaps the spring weather is influencing me as well... 

 

I assumed this ritual of ours would only serve to be an appalling representation outside of what'd be considered normal. 

 

Hence... linking it to our performance like this allowed me to block my own path of retreat, no matter how badly I wanted to escape.

 

The Sakuma Rei of the past would simply lament his fate and run the moment he got fed up... 

 

But the idol — UNDEAD's Sakuma Rei will never flee from the stage. 

 

I'll never break that "promise" again, the vow I made to live together.

 

Thus I'll remain bound by this commandment, even when hellfire burns through my flesh... It would be far better than harboring regret in my heart.

 

Besides, I had such an aversion to this ritual when I was younger... 

 

Thanks to all of you, this is bound to become a wonderful memory that'll make me laugh whenever I think back on it.

Too bad! I'm not satisfied in the least. So I'm basically getting completely and totally screwed over in the process?!

 

Now I'm mad! I even thought I might get a little serious since the DDD live was pretty fun and exciting!

 

But forget it~. Time to live my life as a playboy from now on!

Rei: Hoh. You're coming down from the stage, then? How disappointing. Things were about to get so interesting... ♪

 

Anyhow. It's nearly time for 2wink's musical introduction to end. After that we'll have to go through with the ritual. The critical moment comes when both units are jumbled together.

 

Are you ready, gentlemen? ♪

 

Adonis: Yeah. Ready to go anytime. 

 

Koga: Same here! Aww yeah! Time to go totally berserk. ♪

 

Kaoru: Yep, yep. Good luck out there~. Not that I care since it's got nothing to do with me.

 

Rei: Enough with that sulking. I'll apologize, so come 'round, Kaoru-kun. Now's the hour of our revival. And as we've only just begun... we'll be needing your help.
