I'm glad enough just knowing how you feel. Thank you, Adonis-kun. You're such a kind child... ♪

 

Adonis: I wish you wouldn't pat me on the head. My second oldest sister will get upset if I mess up my bangs.

 

Rei: Ah, yes. If I recall correctly, wasn't she a beautician? 

 

Kaoru: Eh? That's surprisingly stylish~. ♪ I pictured all your sisters to be like Amazons or something. 

 

Adonis: No, that's about right.

Hinata: We're baaack! 2wink reporting for duty~. ☆

 

Yuta: Ahahah. It's pretty lively in here today. ♪

 

Koga: You guys're loud like always... don't go makin' a racket in here, got it?

 

Hinata: My, my. Oogami-senpai’s in such a mood for some reason! Whisper whisper… must’ve been another lover’s spat with that Sakuma-senpai am I right, Missus Yuuta?

Koga: Why, you... ain't you two in a good mood. And here I was worried that you guys were feelin' down or whatever. 

 

Rei: Kukuku. Indeed they are, the Aoi twins... — now. Has your honest volunteer work been paying off?

 

Adonis: You're volunteering? That's remarkable.

 

Hinata: Thanks! Uh, but actually, this is our punishment for breaking the rules of the DDD live!

 

We're in "good kids restoring their reputation" mode right now~. Today we were picking up cans along the coastline. 

 

Yuta: Heheh. Besides, we'll be okay as long as we have Sakuma-senpai pulling the strings and Transfer Student-chan's cooperation. At this rate we might be able to resume our usual activities soon.  

 

Hinata: We haven't decided on what our first concert will be after our return, though...

 

Do you have any good jobs lined up, Sakuma-senpai? Even being extras for UNDEAD would be fine at this point.

 

Rei: Hmm.... let's not call you extras. I'd like to devise a plan that'll make you stand out.

 

We had you doing all the dirty work during the S1 and DDD live performances.

 

For that, I apologize to the both of you from the bottom of my heart.

 

Hinata: Ahahah. We knew we'd end up as sacrifices when we took on the job, Sakuma-senpai.

 

Losing there would've been miserable, so praise be the fact that we won.

 

I think we can crawl back up from hitting rock bottom in no time, though. ♪

 

Yuta: Where's all that confidence coming from... ? We haven't even decided on what direction to go with our unit. Actually, we're still arguing about it.

 

Hinata: Eh~? We're not arguing. You're disagreeing with me all on your own, Yuuta-kun.

 

Yuta: Since we're a pair one person's opinion holds a lot of weight, right? This is an important issue. Make sure to think on it before you do anything, Aniki.

 

Hinata: Heheh. Onii-chan's always thinking! About our happiness, I mean... ♪

 

On that note, Sakuma-senpai —

 

I was just pretending to be modest and all, so... I feel like we deserve a heap of rewards for being so helpful. ♪

 

Rei: You expert at begging, you... there, there. Let's come up with something, then. 

 

Kaoru: Shouldn't you be minding your own business? Don't you have your hands full with what to do about that ritual, Sakuma-san?

 

Hinata: Eh? What're you talking about? A ritual? I don't totally get what's going on but it sounds fun. ☆

 

Yuta: You'll grab onto anything, Aniki.

 

Rei: Fufu. Truth be told, such and such happened.. now I'm on the path to performing a family ritual.

 

And for all my procrastination it needs to be as flashy as possible.

 

Hmm. Since everyone is willing to pitch in...

 

Perhaps it'd be best to have a joint performance with UNDEAD and 2wink where I can easily act out the ritual during the intermission.

 

If the Student Council were to approve our proposal the funds would help a great deal for our preparations.

 

I didn't want my personal affairs to intertwine with my work as an idol, but...

 

We could solve various problems in one fell swoop... 

 

Well. What do you think? Is it worth pursuing? 

 

Koga: Hold up. Quit skippin' through the whole process when you're the only one that gets it...

Rei: No need to worry. I'll explain it all from the beginning properly.

 

I'd like for us to become comrades who can understand each other without the need for translation, who can read each other's minds, but... not knowing what makes someone tick is what makes this fleeting life in the world of the living¹ so amusing. ♪

¹ Rei uses an interesting term here, aka. 浮世 which has many connotations: a fleeting life, this world and the next, a lamentable, melancholy world, etc. The Buddhist concept of the word is no longer used, but texts during the Heian period in regards to the sorrowful world would state things like, " because life is short and painful, it is best to float along and enjoy it." This coincides pretty well with Rei's mindset where he jokes while being simultaneously serious.
