Floyd: You better fork over all the shards you got, ‘cause if you don’t… 

Ghost A: EEEK! HAVE MERCY ON US~!

Ghost B: W-We already surrendered all we had! Promise!

Floyd: Oh, yeah… ? Then show me what you’ve got clenched in your hand.

Ghost B: I-I mean, that’s, uhm…

Floyd: Don’t get cute with me, morons!

Ghost C: S-Somebody help us! Anybody!

Ace: They’re just shrieking while Floyd-senpai chases them around… 

Leona: Look. I know I told you to snatch ‘em while we push on.

But…

I didn’t say to go absolutely postal!

Floyd: You sure? This is just a typical day’s work for me, like when I’m cracking down on contract breakers.

It’s better to get the jump on these ghosts so we don’t end up like Crab-chan did earlier.

 

A “scare them before they scare us” sorta deal. Whoever moves first, wins.

Ace: Uh, you skipped right past “scare” and went straight to “threaten”!

You’re taking this waaay too far!

I mean, look—they all basically bolted and hid!

Leona: Great. Finding a ghost that’s hidden its presence is a pain in the ass.

We could’ve used Spike here as bait to round them all up in one go, but now…

Ace: Oh, for sure. Bait them with Spike and then… —wait, you mean me?! Over my dead body!

Leona: Then I’m out. Figure this out yourselves.

Ace: Wait! Anything but that! Don’t just go and leave me here, Leona-senpai! 

Leona: Oi. Quit your clinging!

Floyd: C’mon, Crab-chan. You don’t wanna hang? Or what, are you tryin’ to say I’m unreliable?

Way I see it, I’m pretty strong.

Ace: I-I mean… yeah, but… 

Leona: Heh. Can’t say I blame him one bit.

Floyd: You what?

Whether you’re a bishop or a knight, you’re meaningless if you can’t move on the board.

I’m like, sooo curious, so how’s about we quit fighting and go check it out? Good deal, right? Right?!

Leona: … Tch. Maybe you can utilize that stupid ridiculous height of yours to dodge some ghosts.

Floyd: You’re the one who better make sure he doesn’t get taken over while noddin’ off.

Ace: Uh, where the heck?

This is no cave. I mean, the full moon is totally visible!

Leona: Unless you forgot, we’re in the Ghost Realm. Common sense doesn’t fly here. A change of scenery is nothing.

So don’t come cryin’ to me when you get possessed again.

Floyd: Check out the giant machines. Looks like they still work, too. Wonder what they’re for.

Leona: Search me. Can’t say I see any ghosts so far, but… 

There’s no telling how long it’ll take us to reach that party where their “Esteemed Host” is waiting.

Heedlessly wavin’ our pens aroundand accumulating blot just for the hell of it would be stupid.

We’ll need to get our hands on some shards to hunt ghosts efficiently.

Ace: Roger that.

Leona: First off, we establish what we know of this place.

Everything points to this being a lab, and a pretty huge one at that, from the scope of the equipment.

No doubt they’ve got security in place, so don’t you dare go touching anything, got it?

Ace: Whoa! A hella loud siren started blaring!

Leona: An alarm? … How’d they find us? Don’t tell me they’ve got bugged cameras…?!

Floyd: Oh. Guess it’s my fault.
