Azul: —Scan complete. There doesn’t appear to be any Farmers Team members in the area.

Let’s take a moment to formulate our strategy.

… Be that as it may, Jack-san! You weren’t listening to my commands at all!

We ended up losing Ruggie-san thanks to your careless provocation of Floyd.

In fact, you yourself were well-nigh forced to drop out of the game.

Jack: Grrr… I said at the start that I wouldn’t take any orders.

I don’t mind flying solo for the rest of the game!

Rook: Hmm. Before joining them, it seems…

That Monsieur Tough Guy and Roi d’Effort have had their fair share of battles.

Azul: Each and every one of them, barely even necessary. Sigh…

Trey: Hey, it could be worse. We were face-to-face with Vil and Floyd and still made it out alive.

That’s not so bad as far as enemy reconnaissance goes. 

Rook: Exactly. Simply capturing members of the opposite team isn’t of the highest importance.

In fact, wouldn’t you say it’s to accomplish our goal trouble free, given victory lies in defending the harp?

Azul: … That’s true.

A considerable amount of time has passed since the start of this game.

Members of the Farmers’ Team should be heading for the colosseum to retrieve that very item.

We’ll drive them onto a pre-established route and then crush them as planned.

This would be the ideal engagement for the Monster’s Team.

Trey: You see that mentality a lot in those ‘tower defense games’ on PC and tabletop. 

Rook: Oui. Then all we need now, as it becomes increasingly critical, is a way to avoid an ambush like earlier.

Jack: Ambush, huh… It feels like everywhere I turn, Vil-senpai is there.

Azul: That's no coincidence. He’s likely reading your every move.

Jack: Huh?

Rook: Azul-kun’s right. We’re well-acquainted with each other, unlike the beasts one meets in the forest.

A person, their location and equipment… all can become vital information for predicting someone’s behavior.

Trey: So we don’t want to hang in the same place for too long.

Let’s wrap this up and plan our next move.

How’re we doing this? Do we head back to the colosseum to defend the harp?

Jack: I’m going to stick with hunting on the playing field. Going on the offensive’s more my thing.

Azul: Yet again with your methods, Jack-san… is what I’d like to say, but this time, we're on the same page.

I’d like us to take down a certain someone before we bolster our defenses.

Rook: Do you mean, Monsieur Mastermind… —Jade-kun, perhaps?

Azul: The very same. I’ve patrolled a good deal of the school with Jack-san, and still found no hide or hair of him.

I don’t believe he would give up without a fight. He has to be scheming something.

Rook: Très bien! What sort of attack will he launch at us, I wonder? How exciting.

Trey: Whoa, guys. You never know; he could’ve been eliminated already.

Still, Jade doesn’t seem the type to charge into the enemy and wreak havoc by himself like Floyd…

Azul: The way they rampage may differ, but those two are virtually identical. Mainly in how deranged they are.

Floyd is simply doing us a favor by making it obvious he’s got a few screws loose just by looking at him.

In that respect, Jade is… significantly worse.

Should you come across him, don’t provoke him, keep your eyes open, and be sure to keep your distance.

Trey: You make your dorm’s vice-leader sound like a wild animal.

Rook: Speaking of ‘your dorm’, Trey-kun, I haven’t seen your close ally, Monsieur Magicam, yet.

Trey: Cater, huh… He’s not really into events like this for being such a social butterfly. You could say he’s hard to read.

Jack: Actually, when I caught Deuce earlier…

I heard him tell Riddle-senpai that Cater-senpai was heading for the botanical garden.

Trey: Mmh… come on, Deuce. I appreciate you protecting our dorm leader, but loudly leaking information to the enemy team like that… 

Azul: Then Vil-san’s party must’ve headed there as well, relying on that information.

Rook: Then should we give chase as well, and set the stage for revenge?

Azul: No, not yet. We should split into two groups from here-on.

The Monster Team doesn’t benefit much from acting as one. And besides…

Riddle-san is well aware that we’re privy to the leaked information.

Trey: Yeah. They could take advantage of that opportunity and use it against us…

Azul: Exactly. Anyhow, there’s something I wish to verify, so I’ll be heading towards our campus store.

Jack: Got it.

Rook: Then, the Rose Chevalier and I will make way for the garden!
