Grim: Ughhh. Our boring classes are finally over again.

Hey, Yuu. Let’s rush back to our dorm and finish up that game we were playing yesterday!

( walking sfx )

Grim: This’s been buggin’ me for a while now, but the walking distance between the school and Ramshackle feels way too far…

 

Location: Ramshackle Dorm

 

 

Grim: Phew. Made it! We’re hooo—

  

….—ome…. ?

( pans to the background )

Grim: W-WHAAAUGH! IT’S A MONSTER!!!

What’re you just standin’ there staring for, Yuu?! We’ve gotta run, like, now!

Lilia: Oh. So you’ve returned.

Grim: WAAAH!

THERE’S ANOTHER ONE RIGHT BEHIND US—!!!

Lilia: Kufufu. What a splendid reaction!

You made it back quicker than expected.

Grim: Y-You’re Diasomnia’s… — the guy who’s always showin’ up upside-down!

Lilia: Indeed, it is I—the ever elusive and oh-so-handsome youth, Lilia Vanrouge.

Grim: What’re you doin’ out here… —actually, now’s not a good time!

We’ve gotta beat it from that huge monster lickety-split!

Lilia: Relax. It’s just an imitation, a decoration made of paper-mache.

Grim: … huh? So it’s not real?

Lilia: Exactly. We residents of Diasomnia cooperated to construct it by attaching a piece of cloth to a wooden frame.

The decorations on the gate, the lanterns—everyone’s fired up and making them together.

Diasomnia Resident A: Let’s cast our magic at the same time and get this hoisted up on the gate.

Watch your heads, guys—!

Diasomnia Resident B: We’ve gotta wrap the lóng’s tail across the courtyard so it stands out as much as possible!

Lilia: That's the ticket; don’t hold back. Decorate with reckless abandon!

Diasomnia Residents: Yes sir!

Grim: W-What the heck’s going on here… Our dorm's lookin' more and more like a haunted house by the second!

Hey! Don’t be makin’ any adjustments to our dorm without my permission!

Lilia: Permission? Why, the Headmaster himself said without hesitation to “Go right ahead!”.

Grim: F-Furreal?! I can’t believe that guy~~~!

> He’s just doing whatever he wants again…

Lilia: Now, now. Don’t say that, especially what with it being for Halloween!

> But why’re you decorating Ramshackle Dorm?

Lilia: Why, obviously because Halloween is well on its way!

Lilia: Malleus insisted, saying that if we were to celebrate Halloween together, “it’d be best to do it at Ramshackle Dorm”.

You must be delighted. After all, you two alone wouldn’t have been able to pull off these gorgeous decorations.

Oh, there’s no need to thank us. Halloween’s something that ought to be enjoyed with everyone. Hah hah hah!

Ghost A: Hee hee hee. Things are looking pretty flashy over here~.

Lilia: Ah, so the ghosts have come to observe our work, have they?

Ghost C: You didn’t hold back one bit with your daring decorations, despite Yuu and Grimmy-boy living here!

Ghost B: Diasomnia’s a-whole-nother level of crazy! We’re gonna have an awesome Halloween this year!

Lilia: Kufufu. It’s not all that worthy of praise!

Grim: … hey.

I’ve been wondering this for a while now, but…

What’s this “Halloween” thing you guys keep talkin’ about?

Has it got somethin’ to do with all the commotion?

Lilia & Ghost B: Uh.

Ghost A: G-Grimmy-boy… Don’t tell me you don’t know anything about Halloween?

Grim: Not a thing.
