I apologize for making you come on such short notice and during our break.

 

Fufu. Yes, it's been quite a while since we last saw each other. How have you been lately, if I might ask?

 

Indeed. Not much appears to have changed, then... do try not to overwork yourself. I'm worried you'll end up falling sick. 

 

We take long breaks around this time of year due to how exhausting it is to go about our normal lives in such intense heat.

 

Do take care of yourself when it comes to the summer heat. 

 

Perhaps that was much too forward for someone like me. What’s more, it feels like... I’m in no position to say such things to you. 

 

Ah, yes. As I said on the phone earlier, I have a favor to ask of you, Anzu-san. 

 

Yes. Per President-sama's unreasonable demands, I'll not only be planning, but leading fine's summer vacation. 

 

In other words, it's entirely within my discretion to determine the details.

 

There are a few points, or rather conditions, that I absolutely must adhere to, however.

 

The first was to involve you, a producer, in our matters.

 

President-sama has an exceedingly high opinion of you ever since you wrapped up the Tanabata Festival in such a splendid way.

 

He must wish for you to gain as much experience as possible through producing us.

 

Since I will be managing our trip this time for the most part, essentially, I wouldn't mind... if you were to offer your assistance, in other words.

 

And so, embarrassing as it may be, I'm begging for your support.

 

I don't have a wealth of leadership experience, and so I would be grateful if you could help by giving me a variety of advice.

 

Yes; I'd like you to join us on our vacation if possible.

 

There will naturally be some difficulties, assuming that we're spending the time overseas.

 

But we'll handle the fees and traveling expenses, so please give some consideration to the matter at hand.

 

If you're unable to grant that request, then I would still be pleased if you could offer some advice.

 

Hmm. I see. You need to consult with your family for permission, but you're willing to participate otherwise?

 

Fufu. That's wonderful... I'm delighted to have you. ♪

 

You may be feeling uneasy about going alone with a bunch of men on a trip, but...

 

Feel free to to discuss even the slightest concern with me. 

 

I'll protect you and help you where possible. I've undergone the necessary training, so please set your mind at ease.

 

Fufu. Very well. I will explain the second condition President-sama brought up.

 

To put it simply, we must extend an invitation to UNDEAD to join us on our trip.

 

If UNDEAD can't participate, then we must invite another unit... apparently.

 

Fufu. It seems President-sama wishes for fine to intermingle with other units in place of always standing alone.

 

If we continue on our lonely island like always the world will eventually leave us behind. Cultivating a friendly rivalry is necessary, I suppose.

 

The more the merrier, or so they say... — or so President-sama says, at least.

 

Ah, yes. Why UNDEAD, you ask? I was wondering the same.

 

I suppose President-sama must have some concept in mind, but the particulars aren't clear.

 

UNDEAD were our stalwart opponents during the DDD's semifinals. They fought a fierce battle against us during that hellish overtime. 

 

They're roughly on par with us and one of the strongest units in Yumenosaki Academy.

 

I've no inkling as to what kind of people they are thanks to my idleness, though... 

 

Perhaps he's always wished for us to go head-to-head with such strong individuals in order to grow?

 

Anyhow. Since they were nominated, I'd like to offer an invitation if possible to UNDEAD to accompany us on our trip.

 

To serve faithfully and unquestionably is a servant's approach. To focus on the immediate instead of the bigger picture is a soldier's approach.

 

Consequently, I'll be glad if all moves smoothly and goes accordingly to President-sama's wishes.

 

A gear won't turn if it starts to think about the meaning of life or every unrelated individual's intentions. 

 

The cycle will stop in its tracks. 

 

Let's return to the main subject, then. Since I believe you're acquainted with UNDEAD, I'd like to ask you to act as a go-between.

 

It goes without saying that I'd greatly appreciate it if you'd assist me in negotiations. 

 

UNDEAD seems to be conducting their activities lately in an underground live house somewhere in the area... 

 

It would be very helpful if you could guide me.

 

Summer though it may be, if we take too long the sun will set before we know it... 

 

If we hurry, I would at least be able to identify them by today.

 

Fufu. This is fairly new to me since I'm not usually out on a stroll around this time of day.

Of course, since the streets are dangerous at night, on our return I'll be sure to escort you home.
