resurrection sunday of the undying - ( reincarnation 6 )

Location: Resurrection Sunday Assembly Hall

Souma: Hasumi-dono~! Pardon the interruption!

Forgive me, but I pray you'll accompany me on this urgent matter!

Keito: Uwagh; don't pull me! What's wrong? Did trouble strike?

Souma: Indeed! It seems we've entered troubled waters. I wasn't sure I could address the situation on my own and so I sought out your guidance!

Keito: Hmm. Still, you could've just told me ahead of time on your smart phone... well, if you weren't also so estranged from modern conveniences.

I'm in no position to scold Oogami like earlier. Perhaps I'm too lenient on my colleagues.

Souma: Hmm? I apologize for not comprehending! I shall atone by committing seppuku in a cross-shaped cut... !

Keito: Enough. Ugh... I can't find anything to say aside from "how incorrigible". Yumenosaki has far too many problem children.

In any case, I'll leave the scolding for later. Can you explain to me what sort of trouble's cropped up?

Souma: I can. To put it plainly, there's a suspicious group dressed in black loitering inside the building. It's frightening the public.

And while I don't think they mean any harm, they're bizarre enough to need to be dealt with, maybe.

Adonisu-dono has halted them for the moment under the pretext of asking about their intent.

He can't hold them off forever. Adonisu-dono may be in danger if we don't tackle this situation quickly.

Keito: Dressed in black... ? Did a UFO land too, maybe? Is this Men In Black?

Koga: ... hey. Ain't they relatives of that vampire?

You should know. Every member of that family's dreary as hell. They've got a dead, corpse-like look in their eyes and wear black from head-to-toe.

Keito: Yes... and now that you mention it, this Resurrection Sunday event is happening at the same time as the Sakuma family ritual.

That'd be why they've all gathered in the assembly hall, then.

Hmph. That bunch hasn't changed in the least. There's no point in expecting them to be mindful of TPO.

Souma: Oh! I remember that phrase from a few days ago! It means "time", "place", and "occasion", I believe. ♪

Keito: Yes, but... just keeping the meaning in mind won't do you any good. Make sure you put it into practice.

Anyhow. That family won't listen to anyone from outside their sphere. Call Sakuma. They'll listen to that thing's commands; his word is law.

Do you know where that guy is right now, Oogami?

Koga: Aahn? Well, maybe if I followed his scent... ?

Not that I can sniff out a thing today what with all the freakin' food everywhere.

I mean, look at all the stalls. There's so damn many that it's hard to walk through the crowd.

Keito: Hmm. No doubt in thanks to Resurrection Sunday being an ancient, long lost Easter festival.

It's a festival for the celebration of the Spring Harvest, where one can sing, dance, and enjoy as many seasonal treats as they want.

That's the gist of it and most likely why there's plenty of places to eat.

It feels like Sakuma himself must've called out this unnecessarily large crowd and amount of food stalls. It's larger than I anticipated.

His ability to attract customers is as considerable as I recall. I'd prefer him to take things more seriously and demonstrate that authority regularly, but...

I don't have the right to hold such desires anymore.

However. All this excitement is a good omen.

We can once more restore Yumenosaki to the reputation it once held; the only idol training school in Japan to give birth to so many top idols.

In this sense, Resurrection Sunday will truly live up to its name.

Koga: Keh... I don't like it. You're makin' it sound like we're goin' out of our way for everyone in Yumenosaki who went and ruined the idol business world.

What'd they do for us, huh?

Keito: Don't be like that. We're standing on the soil of a new stratum. Our thoughts may drift to the past at times; it's worth it to pay one's respects.

The accumulated blessings of the land in the past... giving thanks for the harvest. It all suits the theme of Resurrection Sunday.

Souma: Hasumi-dono~? Pardon me for interrupting again, but this isn't the time for a carefree chat! We ought to move!

Keito: You're right... — Oogami. Sorry to do this before your number, but come with me. We need to find Sakuma and take care of that lot dressed in black.

Kanzaki and the transfer student will carry out what I originally had planned where possible.

Neither of you are members of the Student Council, so I apologize for laying a burden on you and your kind assistance.

Souma: Why, it's nothing. Between this and Resurrection Sunday's 'ressuns', I'll gain plenty of valuable experience.

I am, at the very least, able to contribute in this way. Rewarding your generosity with my service is the warrior's creed.

Keito: Right. I'm counting on you.

2wink. Start advertising if you've got time to spare.

There's going to be plenty of outsiders in the audience. The basic rules of a DreamFes event need to be communicated beforehand.

I'd also like for you to convey to the rest that everything's fine and our guests dressed in black aren't suspicious or anything to be afraid of.

You're good at that, aren't you?

Hinata: Wah — he's ordering us around like it's natural!

Yuta: It's not like we're obligated to listen to him. We don't plan on doing anything that'll make people mad this time either, so there's no point in making us do work as punishment.

Keito: Refuse if you want. But don't you want Resurrection Sunday to be a success, since you're performing?

You were originally still on probation when it comes to activities.

I facilitated your early reinstatement, so I'd like you to show a little gratitude.

Hinata: Ghh. This guy's way too smooth a talker.

Yuta: He's pretty good at talking you into something every time... all right. It seems like it'll benefit us, so.

Keito: Good. We'll disband for now. Do your best, each of you.

Koga: Hahah. Why's the guy who won't stand on stage the one in charge here, huh, "Hasumi-senpai"?
